UNC’s School of Nursing (#3 nursing school in the nation!) needed a redesigned homepage to not only be a nice welcome to usher visitors into the website, but also to make it easily updateable by the staff. This website design helps UNC’s Nursing School update it themselves with a WordPress backend; whenever they have a  news item to post, they log in to WordPress, upload any related pictures, input the text, then all of that is automatically formatted into the design of the site. Once the website was put up live, the new dean said that it’s a “wonderful, rich, sophisticated welcome mat for the outside world looking to learn about the School.” Glad you like it, dean! And can’t forget to thank Whitney over there, who’s always such a hoot to work with. (I feel like I’m giving my acceptance speech or something.)

Silver Palate is a restaurant reality show from the Shipman Agency, hit television production company based out of Texas. In this logo design, we wanted to get the fusion of modern and elegant into one tidy brand.

J. Patrick Childs does a whole lot of random stuff and wanted a central identity that he could use. This iconic logo design shows the “J, P and c” so throwing them all together in one icon makes a beautiful infinity-type symbol. Sold.

Southern Village Swim & Tennis Club in Chapel Hill was taken over by new management and wanted a complete redesign of their identity. So this logo design shows the aspects of the swim and tennis club in one icon. The new club is now completely redone and looking spiffy! Now all I need is an excuse to go over there and play some bad tennis! Any takers?

mission1:27 is a nonprofit group who helps Russian orphans get a good shake at life. The logo design needed to reflect a giving nature and show a simple caring interaction between a child and an adult.

Mansion 462 is a dance club/bar on West Franklin in Chapel Hill that incorporates all types of music, from blues and bluegrass to hip hop and techno. Their logo design was to reflect their high class feel since the interior of the place looks nice and cushy.

Feminine Future is a book that explains how women have a lot of marketing power. And yes, us men already know they have a lot of power already in other areas … but here comes more proof of power. Man, the balance of power is now freakishly out of whack. The book’s logo design incorporates the old (Mona Lisa) with new (computer pixels).

Ammo & Attitude is a cable show that hits the spot for the show’s demographic: it’s a hunting show with hot women. Yes, the demographic is men. Good job. So the logo design had to reflect not only sex appeal but also the hardcore hunting aspect.
