Southern Village Swim & Tennis Club in Chapel Hill was taken over by new management and wanted a complete redesign of their identity. So this logo design shows the aspects of the swim and tennis club in one icon. The new club is now completely redone and looking spiffy! Now all I need is an excuse to go over there and play some bad tennis! Any takers?

Feminine Future is a book that explains how women have a lot of marketing power. And yes, us men already know they have a lot of power already in other areas … but here comes more proof of power. Man, the balance of power is now freakishly out of whack. The book’s logo design incorporates the old (Mona Lisa) with new (computer pixels).

Ammo & Attitude is a cable show that hits the spot for the show’s demographic: it’s a hunting show with hot women. Yes, the demographic is men. Good job. So the logo design had to reflect not only sex appeal but also the hardcore hunting aspect.

Dale Brothers Spiced Popcorn is an amazing blend of spices coated onto popcorn that makes your tastebuds do backflips. It’s always a welcome addition to any party or any great movie. Just bring a lot or else it’ll go quick. This logo design was meant to be playful yet mouth-watering. Using warm colors tends to make your tastebuds warm up. Okay, I’ll admit it … this popcorn is the creation of my brother and mine, so I’m a bit biased.

I created this logo design waaaay back in the day while working for the News of Orange County in Hillsborough, NC. They have a recurring column in which they ask a local person six questions. I always thought the column was a very interesting slice-of-life piece and deserved an interesting logo design to boot.

Visua Designs was my initial logo design thought on what ended up being AdrialDesigns. It was a play on the word “Visual” and it just so happened that the V and A are mirror images flipped of each other. Unfortunately, I hadn’t done enough research before designing this because there is another graphic design studio based out of Canada that is named Visua. All I have to show for it now is this cool logo. After all, adrialdesigns ain’t all that bad, right?

Triangle Swing Dance Society is a Raleigh, NC based group that holds swing dancing events. My mother loves swing dancing, so I entered this logo design and won first place, meaning 10 tickets for her. Love you, mom!
