Poetic Portraits of a Revolution, produced by the Academy Award-winning organization Empowerment Project, will be sending nationally recognized spoken word poets and youth educators Will McInerney and Kane Smego to Egypt and Tunisia this summer to collect oral histories, take photographs, and create poetic reflections that depict the sights, sounds, and emotions of life in both countries during this time of transformation. This website design is simple and timeless.

Ammo & Attitude is a cable show that hits the spot for the show’s demographic: it’s a hunting show with hot women. Yes, the demographic is men. Good job. So the logo design had to reflect not only sex appeal but also the hardcore hunting aspect.

This gatefold brochure design was created in cahoots with Scott at Headfirst Creative. Rosewood wanted their brochure to be classy and hold true to their professional and supportive environment for caring for the elderly. Scott got all the details on what they wanted and the kind of design they wanted and we worked together to get it to how Rosewood wanted it.

MLCSE (Master of Life Cycle Systems Engineering) is a division of the Institute for Defense and Business. They wanted a logo design to represent this new program that educates engineers on how to develop their products in order to recycle them into the future. Cool program for saving the future of our planet and cutting out the waste inherent in product lifecycles.

Captrate is a subsidiary of CaptiveAire. They make industrial kitchen fans to remove grease from kitchen exhaust. They wanted a new perception on their great product, something to set them apart from competitors. So we updated their look with a new logo, brochure and website. This brochure print design reflects the clean design concept we developed for the other pieces of the Captrate identity.

The Laurus Foundation seeks to “advance the lives of individuals with disabilities.” Based in Illinois, their ongoing mission is to link up with other like-minded businesses and individuals in order to promote their mission to help the disabled in whatever way they can. They wanted their website design to be engaging and beautiful, yet simple and accessible for their prospective disabled users.

I also developed a cool Flash-based navigation system for the homepage to really be able to put impactful imagery front-and-center.

Blend Bistro approached me to do the complete identity and collateral package and website for them and we wanted to get a high-class look together with simplicity. Blend was also a coffee shop during the day, so the swirl of the “e” can be seen as reminiscent of the swirl in the cappuccino as you stir. Unfortunately the club shut down after a year in existence as a lot of clubs and bars tend to do around Franklin Street. It was a great venue while it lasted. RIP.

Dale Brothers Spiced Popcorn is an amazing blend of spices coated onto popcorn that makes your tastebuds do backflips. It’s always a welcome addition to any party or any great movie. Just bring a lot or else it’ll go quick. This logo design was meant to be playful yet mouth-watering. Using warm colors tends to make your tastebuds warm up. Okay, I’ll admit it … this popcorn is the creation of my brother and mine, so I’m a bit biased.

L’Enfant Terrible is defined in Webster’s Dictionary as an unusually successful person who is strikingly unorthodox, innovative, and/or avant-garde. I’d say that fits in with the kind of personality you want in your party planner. The logo design clearly shows this in his knowing smirk mixed with his professional bow-tie.
